Finally, the elf chose to sing loudly. She knew that time was running out, and it was essential to succeed on the first try. She opened her mouth and began to sing with an enchanting voice, her words imbued with magic. The sounds resonated in the cell, enveloping the jailer in a bewitching aura.

Under the magical influence of the elf, the jailer, still in shock from the noise and surprise, seemed to momentarily forget the anger that had consumed him.

 

Jailer: (charmed, smiling blissfully) Oh, what am I thinking! You’re right, dear elf. I’m too good for this world. I’ll let you out.

The jailer turned the key in the lock and opened the cell door, finally allowing the adventurers to escape from their foul prison. Relief mixed with gratitude in the adventurers’ eyes as they hurriedly fled down the dark corridors of the dungeon.

In their frantic dash through the labyrinthine dungeon corridors, each of them, except for the thief, had to roll a die to ensure their stealth and assurance, as the guards were still patrolling.
