The magician’s spell radiates incredible power, and the lock begins to yield under the assault of intense heat. The first drops of molten metal fall slowly to the ground, creating a mesmerizing hissing sound. A blinding light emanates from the point of contact between the magician’s fingers and the lock, briefly illuminating the cell with a dazzling glow.

The air becomes oppressive, filled with the distinctive scent of molten metal. The magician channels every ounce of her power, the bulging veins on her forehead attesting to the intensity of the effort. Incandescent sparks spray from the lock as it continues to liquefy, forming a small, shining puddle on the cell’s floor.

 

Exhausted from the superhuman effort she has just exerted, the magician takes a deep breath, feeling sweat bead on her forehead. But the smiles of satisfaction on the weary faces of her companions light up the room.

The door is nothing more than a shattered obstacle, a wide-open path to freedom. Escape is within reach, and hope rekindles in the hearts of each adventurer, but it’s time to hurry and run for the exit.

In their frenzied race through the labyrinthine corridors of the dungeon, each of them, except the thief, had to roll a die to ensure their stealth and confidence, as the guards were still patrolling.
